How to Create and Use Screenshot Collections

Group related screenshots into collections. Manual collections for curated sets, Live Collections that fill themselves automatically.

Collections are how you organize your screenshot library into meaningful groups. Instead of one big list, you have dedicated folders for each project, client, or topic — with the option to make them self-organizing using Live Collections.

Step-by-Step

1

Open your Screenmarks dashboard

Go to screenmarks.com/dashboard and click "Collections" in the sidebar.

2

Create a new collection

Click the + button, name your collection ("Dark Mode Inspiration", "Client ABC Research"), and choose: manual or Live.

3

For manual collections: add screenshots

Open any screenshot, click the bookmark icon, and select your collection. Or drag and drop from the main library view.

4

For Live Collections: set your rules

Define rules: screenshots from a specific domain, with a specific tag, captured in a date range. Any new captures matching the rule auto-join.

5

Use the Ask feature on collections

Open any collection and click Ask. You can now chat with the AI about all screenshots in that collection.

Pro Tip

Start with 3 collections max. Too many collections is as confusing as no collections. Add more as you naturally need them.
