How to Ask Focused Questions About Your Screenshots

Select screenshots or a collection and ask focused questions about the context Screenmarks saved.

The Ask feature turns a focused screenshot set into a conversational workspace. Instead of manually reviewing 50 screenshots, you can ask: "What are the common pricing patterns across these competitor screenshots?" and get an answer grounded in the selected captures.

Step-by-Step

1

Select the screenshots you want to query

Multi-select screenshots from your library, open a collection, or open a single screenshot detail view.

2

Click the Ask button

The Ask panel opens. It shows how many screenshots are in context.

3

Type your question

Ask anything: "Summarize the key points from these articles", "What pricing models appear most often?", "List all the features mentioned across these screenshots".

4

Read the answer

Ask synthesizes information from the selected screenshots and responds based on the available context.

5

Ask follow-up questions

The conversation is multi-turn — ask follow-ups to dig deeper into specific points.

Pro Tip

Ask works best with a focused set of screenshots. 5-30 screenshots on a specific topic gives richer answers than querying your entire library at once.
